An exclusive ‘in conversation’ event with the author of forthcoming novel The Poppy Girls, Kirsty Dougal where she will discuss the book and answer readers’ questions in The Poppy Factory visitor centre, at 3pm on Monday 10 November.
The Poppy Girls tells the story of three teenagers who come of age during the Second World War while living on The Poppy Factory estate, where their veteran fathers are all employed making Remembrance wreaths.
Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and to explore the exhibition, see Remembrance wreaths being made, and make a poppy to wear or take home.
