The Great Richmond Easter Trail

A truly magical adventure is coming to Richmond this Easter! From 28 March to 12 April, gather your little explorers and set off on a family trail through the town, spotting mischievous hidden characters along the way, hunting for curious clues and uncovering the secret word.

Complete the trail and you’ll unlock a totally FREE and deliciously chocolatey reward - plus the chance to win exclusive prizes.

How it works

1. Download or pick up your FREE trail map

Download your trail map (please note the map will be available to download from 26th March) or collect from the Visit Richmond Kiosk at Richmond Train Station (from 28th March) and begin your holiday adventure.

2. Spot the hidden Easter characters

As you navigate the trail , keep your eyes peeled for adorable Easter Bunnies and Chicks hidden in windows around the town. Each one holds a clue to the code you’ll need - make a note of every letter you find on your trail map.

3. Head to the final stop to crack the code

Once you’ve collected all the letters, make your way to the final trail stop at Richmond Hill Hotel. You’ll only be able to unscramble the secret word once you’ve found the final clue at the hotel.

4. Unlock your FREE chocolate and enter the prize draw

Reveal the correct word at the hotel to collect your free *chocolate reward at the entrance of 144 on the Hill. Then scan the QR code on your trail map and enter the secret word on our website to be entered into the exclusive prize draw.

5. Put an extra spring in your step!

To make the adventure last a little longer, take a short walk down the hill to Petersham Nurseries where a free pack of springtime seeds* awaits you- just tear off the voucher to claim at the checkout.

6. Share your adventure!
