Richmond truly embraced the Halloween spirit this year as the Be Spooky Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch returned - and it was bigger than ever. In just six hours, more than 900 people came along to soak up the fun, making it the largest pumpkin patch Be Richmond has hosted to date.

Families, friends and little ones in their best fancy dress filled Whittaker Avenue, creating a brilliant buzz from start to finish. It was one of those feel-good days where you could really sense the community coming together, with plenty of visitors travelling in from across London and beyond to join in.

Pumpkins, Paint and Plenty of Smiles

The patch itself was packed with picture-perfect pumpkin displays, colourful Halloween backdrops and lots of spots to snap a seasonal selfie. Everywhere you looked, people were posing, carving or showing off their pumpkin picks.

Pumpkin carving workshops were a huge hit, with tables full of concentrated little faces carefully designing their spooky creations. Face painting added even more fun, transforming children into witches, skeletons, superheroes and everything in between.

There was a steady stream of excitement throughout the day, with families arriving across every time slot to join the festivities.

A Day to Remember

What made the event so special wasn’t just the pumpkins - it was the atmosphere. Laughter, creativity and a shared love of Halloween filled the space, turning an ordinary autumn day into something memorable.

The Be Spooky Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch has firmly become a highlight of Richmond’s seasonal calendar, and if this year is anything to go by, next year is going to be even bigger.
