Pret a Manger (affectionately known as ‘Pret’), was founded by college friends Julian Metcalfe and Sinclair Beecham who wanted to provide simple, delicious food served by friendly, motivated staff. Today, the company has branches around the world serving hot and cold dishes and 1.4 million cups of coffee per day.
