Community Events, Fairs, Festivals and Markets, Family Events, Free Events, Music and Dance
Richmond Town Centre
- 10:00 - 17:00 17th - 19th July
Richmond town centre will once again become a stage for performance, creativity and community this summer as Centre Stage returns from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July.
Richmond Council, in conjunction with Community Partner Be Richmond, is activating the 2026 Centre Stage: Richmond Myths, transforming key locations across the town centre with performances, creative activity and cultural experiences - filling the streets with joy, inviting people to experience Richmond in a completely different way. Following the success of last year’s event, the 2026 edition expands across the full weekend with a vibrant new programme presented in partnership with Orange Tree Theatre, who will present Richmond Myths, a thematic strand reimagining legendary tales for today.
Over this extraordinary weekend, the town will come alive with myths and monsters, fates and feasts, mighty heroes, and ancient magic. From the streets and shops to historic buildings, green spaces, and perhaps even the river itself, Richmond will fizz with performances in unexpected places across the town centre.
