A Step-by-Step Guide to reporting high street crime online.

• Go to the official Police UK website: https://www.police.uk/pu/contact-us/what-and-how-to-report/how-to-report/
   
• Select the type of crime:
  Common categories include:
  • Theft, burglary, or property damage
  • Assault or harassment
  • Cybercrime or fraud
  • Antisocial behaviour

• Fill in the online form:
  • Provide details of what happened, when, and where.
  • Include any evidence (photos, videos, documents) if available.
  • Submit your contact details (or choose to remain anonymous. You will be given a choice)

• Receive a crime reference number:
• This is called a CAD number, and you must keep this number as it will help you follow up with the police later.
