Richmond Bid AGM Celebrates 3 Years of Achievements

The 2019 Richmond BID Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on 3rd October at Richmond Hill Hotel. The meeting generated a large attendance from people representing all sections of Richmond’s business and residential communities.

As part of the AGM formalities, Richmond BID Chairman Erick Kervaon presented a video celebrating three years of achievements and demonstrating how Be Richmond (the ‘brand persona’ of Richmond BID) is fulfilling its business plan objectives.

Guest speaker Jason Debney from Thames Landscape Strategy talked about his organisation’s 25 years of work conserving and promoting the Thames and how this work aligns with projects carried out by Be Richmond. Both parties are agreed that The Thames is one of Richmond’s greatest assets which supports jobs, provides leisure facilities, attracts visitors and showcases the town to the wider world.

After the presentations, guests were entertained by live music from local band, Acoustik, whilst informally networking.

Be Richmond Chairman Erick Kervaon commented:

“AGMs are important meetings, but they can be very formal and dull. Our aim for this meeting was to first comply with all the legal requirements and protocols and then engage with a broad cross section of our stakeholders to demonstrate three years of achievements in a friendly, informal open meeting. The event was a great success and feedback has been very positive.”
