Businesses gather for the 2022 Be Richmond Annual General Meeting

Be Richmond was delighted to welcome a cross-section of Richmond’s businesses to its 2022 Annual General Meeting last Thursday, which was held in person for the first time since 2019. 

The meeting was chaired by Be Richmond Chair, Ann Chapman-Daniel of Minesoft Ltd, who was accompanied on the panel by Lou Abbotts (Chief Operating Officer), Ellen Amorina Storrar (BID Manager) and Isobel Pickles (Marketing Manager) from the Be Richmond staff team. 

Representatives from BID member businesses voted on resolutions to adopt the Company accounts for the year ending 31st March 2022, to re-elect 7 BID Board Directors and to appoint Sarah Leff, of Interact, as a new Board Director.

The Be Richmond team gave an overview of projects and achievements since the last Annual General Meeting, and there was a general discussion about the factors currently affecting business and the high street, such as the Cost of Living crisis, energy price rises and the challenging economic climate. 

Following the meeting, guests enjoyed drinks and canapes provided by Tapas Brindisa.
